About the project LGC Switzerland
We are part of the international Longboard Girls Crew (LGC) movement which aims to support, empower and inspire women and populations prone to social inequality, as well as break down stereotypes.
Our Values
We believe that skateboarding and longboarding should be accessible to anyone. That’s why we want to create a safe, inclusive and non-judgmental atmosphere, for everyone to ride in peace and confidence.
Our Impact
We contributed to change the way women and girls were portrayed and perceived in our discipline. We gave many beginners the impulse they needed to try something new, or a place to keep practicing their riding. Most of all, we became part of a fantastic community spread out all over the world.
Since we are a non-profit organization, we’re entirely depending on support ; be it financial, or with material, know-how or communication.
